Fashion & Style: Diana

Introduce yourself!
Hi, I am Diana (Queenhorsfall), and I am from Kazakhstan. I am the fashion blogger of Different Colors & Different Styles. For the past five years, I lived in Europa, Asia and North America. Currently I live in S. Korea, where I am the Creative Director of IFBK (

How would you describe your sense of style?
I think it is simple, inexpensive and chic. I get a big influence from the country where I live. For example, last year, I was living in Germany, where I liked to wear something comfortable, but also very elegant. Being in S. Korea, I prefer short-shorts, skirts – almost like all Korean chicas.

Where do you get your inspiration for each look?
I usually wear something that shows how I feel.  I usually try to use a pop of color. I think it makes me look unique. South Korea is a great place to be inspired.

What’s your ‘Go-To’ outfit for when you need to get ready in a hurry?
Jeans or pants, or even a dress. Leather jacket and some comfy shoes like sneakers. And a backpack! I cannot imagine my life without backpack.

What are the three favorite things in your closet?
I love my colorful blazers.  One of favorites is royal blue. After that, maybe my maxi chiffon skirt and black beanie.

What are some of your favorite shops or websites for clothes, shoes and accessories?
I usually shop at Forever21, Asos, Zara, and a lot of Korean shopping places. Korea has a cool variety of cute pieces, and they are so cheap!

What fashion or styling tips would you give to someone who wants to improve their sense of style?
Be yourself. Do not copy somebody, because it is boring. Try to mix everything with anything. Be unique.

Is there a blog/webpage or Youtube channel where we can find you?

What is Prestige...Oxford University England

11:17:00 AM Jem Lawren 0 Comments

Hey Guys,
So I finally got around to sorting out all of the pics I had taken while I was in England and Ireland. And wow...I had over 2,000 pics! I guess I was a bit "snap-happy"

I had a chance to visit Oxford University in Oxford, England and I had the most wonderful time experiencing the culture of that area. I'm not sure if I had mentioned this before, but visiting Oxford England was quite sentimental to me.  Oxford, England was the area where my grandmother had resided when she moved from the Caribbean. Oxford was also where my mom grew up and also attended university. I felt as if I was re-living the past :). With that being said, I would like to share a few of those photos with you. Check them out below. To view more photos: MORE PHOTOS

Warby Parker- Palm Canyon Collection: Look Great With Every Outfit

Everyone likes to look and feel great in an outfit.  Eyeglasses are a great way to accessorize or enhance your look, even if it's a prescription or just as an accessory. Eye-wear can be seen worn at a movie premiere, red carpet events and at a front row seating of an high-end fashion show. Whether its a tortoise shell, vintage-inspired, retro or a chunky style its all about how you look and feel while wearing them.

With that being said, lets talk about Warby Parker. Warby Parker is a company that is  able to provide higher-quality, fashion-forward prescription eye-wear at a fraction of the price. The company has an excellent selection of  vintage-inspired and contemporary frames.

As of today, Warby Parker will release their limited edition Palm Canyon Collection.  This collection  will consist of both eyeglasses and sunglasses.  Warby Parker has refreshed some of their best-loved frames like the Winston, Duckworth, Preston and Wheeler in a Palm Springs palette of mesquite, acacia, ironwood and sand. Designing and constructing the patterns required a technique that took over a year to perfect, and each pair is distinguished with a unique contrast detail created by melding sheets of woodwork-inspired acetate and tortoise acetate together. No two pairs are alike. How unique!!

Check out some of these chic and trendy eyeglasses and sunglasses that are now available.

Painted Desert

Red Canyon

Cognac Tortoise

Revolver Black & Windswept Tortoise

Palm Canyon Collection frames are available for $145 online at and at Warby Parker stores and showrooms.

It seems as though Warby Parker is everything you would want in a pair of eye-wear and more.  One fact that I love about this company is that they have partnered with non-profits to ensure that for every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need. Isn't that Awesome! Oh Yeah...Did I happen to mention that I am so loving the Preston Red Canyon and the Wheeler Revolver Black.

Need an outfit idea to wear your new Warby Parker with??? Check out this fab number I've pieced together for you with a pair of the PRESTONs :)
