Introduce yourself!
Hello my name is Diana Fontes, I study Communication and and earning a MA in Fashion and Luxury Marketing with the Complutense University of Madrid in Mexico. After following looks at department store coordinations and attending runways shows I began to fall in love with fashion. Then… I couldn’t stop, so I started a blog.

How would you describe your sense of style?
I think I’d define my look as classic and sometimes relaxed. My inspiration has always been from the likes of Jacky Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn.

Where do you get your inspiration for each look?
I often check out magazines, bazar like Vogue Spain to see what the current trends. I also look at OOTD (outfit of the day) pages to get inspiration and then I start to build my own styles.

Are there any celebrities/fashion icons whose style you admire?
When it comes to fashion bloggers I have several of them. The two that comes to mind is Gary Pepper and Zanita Whittington. For celebritie it would have to be Taylor Swift and The Royalty.

What’s your ‘Go-To’ outfit for when you need to get ready in a hurry?
All black, flats and red lips.

What are the three favorite things in your closet?
Flats, skirts and a white shirt.

If you had the option of replacing all items in your closet with items from a particular designer. Who would that be?
Oh my god, I would like to have them all. Chanel, Valentino, Red Valentino, but I think my priority is to maintain a very independent style, that my styles clothing are not created with a particular brand. I’d rather play with the garment and perhaps achieve a look with items such as Chanel Espadrilles and a Zara boyfriends jeans.

What are some of your favorite shops or websites for clothes, shoes and accessories?
For now it is Zara, Stradivarius, Forever 21, Asos and Guess.

What fashion or styling tips would you give to someone who wants to improve their sense of style?
First thing is to find yourself! It is important to define and know your own tastes, your personality and know that you are not following someone else’s style…..that you're defining your own sense of style.

Is there a blog/webpage or Youtube channel where we can find you?
Yes you can find me at

Thanks so much!!! xoxo

Sometimes a great weekend can be about staying at home in bed , with comfy clothes accompanied by a good book or magazine. Besides the the great weather and meeting up with my photographer to shoot a couple of outfit pics...my weekend was pretty relaxing. I had on a loose tank top, my Pink sweatpants and my favorite book and magazines next to me. In my opinion, my weekend was perfect!

How to Declutter Your Closet

6:00:00 AM Jem Lawren 0 Comments

We all love clothes, but having too much can cause quite a clutter. Clothes can be very difficult to get rid of if you don’t know where to start.
With all of the new trends and designs that comes out each season…adding more items to a closet  of a “borderline hoarder” can become a bit stressful.

An easy way of keeping a situation like this under control is to go through your closest as the seasons change. Just simply create THREE piles.

DONATE

- This first pile should be the items that you know you’d never wear again. These clothings may not match anything else in your closet or it doesn’t fit.

YARD SALE/ CONSIGNMENT

- Who wouldn’t love to make a few extra dollars from items they no longer need. This pile should be conssist of items that may still fit, may not be in trend, and you may not look for feel that great in them anymore.

TRASH

- These are the items of clothing that you hold onto praying to God that Tide will create a mircle detergent that would remove the retched stain from your sight, but the prayer is never answered. This also may be the articles of clothing that may have a hole so deformed that a needle and thread would not be able to fix it.

This doesn’t have to be an all day thing…. As I stated before it’s of good partice to do this with each changing season. Happy Decluttering!!!
