Bamboo Perfume by Franck Olivier Exclusively at Fragrance Outlet

Today I am back with another review and this time I will be reviewing Franck Olivier’s Bamboo for women, an exclusive fragrance sold by Fragrance Outlet.

Before I get into my review on the perfume, I wanted to talk a little about Fragrance Outlet, Inc. Fragrance Outlet, Inc. recently launched their new e-commerce site. They own and operate over 100 Fragrance Outlet and Designer Fragrances stores. Fragrance Outlet is one of the nation’s largest retailers of genuine designer fragrances and related accessories.

Compared to other retail or department store prices for designer fragrances, Fragrance Outlet prices are substantially lower, which makes these high-end perfumes and colognes more affordable for the everyday consumer.



Ordering and shipping from frangranceoutet.com was a breeze. Once your order has been completed, a confirmation email will be sent to you where you are able to track your package. An order typically takes about 3 business days. My order was packaged in an adorable white box with a blue ribbon. They were also nice enough to provide four additional small perfume samples for me to try…fragrances that they exclusively carry.




Franck Olivier’s Bamboo is a beautiful, floral and elegant scent. I love the fact of how pretty and feminine this scent is. The wonderful sweet scent of lilies was very subtle and not at all overpowering.

The notes that make up this fragrance include:

Top notes: Blackcurrant, Violet leaves, Ivy
Middle notes: Lily, rose, Ylang-ylang, Freesia
Base notes: Musk, Cedar and Vetiver




The perfumes bottle itself was shaped beautifully. This fragrance is perfect for the spring and summer months. The only negative about this perfume is that the scent does not last long. Now, I do know that when wearing a fragrant, your sense of smell will get use to the scent of whatever you may be wearing. But, I found myself having to re-applying the fragrance throughout the day because I couldn’t catch a whiff of the scent after it has been applied for an hour or two.

Overall, I really like the scent. As I said, Bamboo is a feminine, beautiful, floral and elegant scent, but keep in mind that Fragrance Outlet carries other popular names in fragrance...so you’re not limited when selecting you signature scent.
