Happy Holidays Luvs!

Wow! I can't believe that 2018 is already coming to an end....this year has flown by so quickly. I have a positive vibe about 2019 and I am truly looking forward to the upcoming year. Like many of you, you've probably made up your minds on whether your're going to stay in or head out this New Years Eve. These past couple of weeks, I have gotten quite a few New Years Eve parties invitations. So in today's post, I wanted to share a New Years Eve outfit inspired look.

My look was centered around a beautiful shoe charm that was gifted to me by Alterre. This interchangeable shoe charm called the North Star, is the perfect shoe accessory that can be worn with Alterre shoes as well as any shoe that has a 1/4" strap. If you haven't heard about Alterre...they're an innovative line of modular shoes for the modern woman. Their patent pending technology allow you to transform your shoes with over 500 combinations. And the best part of all, Alterre donates 5% of their profits to Restore NY....which is a nonprofit organization that is fighting to end sex trafficking.

In this look, I am wearing a brown pleated vintage dress with a faux fur cape. I decided to pair my silver Aldo heels with the Alterre North Star shoe charm. I think this particular look is be best if I decided to attend one of the parties that requires more of a dressier look. I can't wait to celebrate the ending of one year and the beginning of the next.

Alterre wanted to spread a little extra joy this holiday season by providing the code "HolidayCharm", which allow you to get 10% discount off your purchase. To learn more about the brand Alterre, check out their online site: Alterreny.com

Hey Luvs,

Today on the blog, I wanted to give you a recap of a recent event that I had attended. This past weekend I had the pleasure to attend fashion designer APD's Holiday Pop-Up Shop. Is was such a blast viewing pieces from the latest collection and officially meeting the designer Amy Page DeBlasio (APD).

The event was held in Providence, RI at the oldest indoor mall, The Arcade Providence. As guest walked in, they were greeted with a little bubbly and delicious treats. The DJ set the mood as guest shopped the latest urban chic pieces.

Merchandise were lined from one wall to the next. Providing guest with trendy selections such as jackets, pants, t-shirts, scarves, belts to stylish hats. The collection consist of vibrant colors, patterns, graphics and fabrics that expressed a sophisticated type of swagger.

I knew that I couldn't leave this pop-up without snagging a designer piece for myself, so I decided on purchasing a camouflage logo black & white baseball tee. What made the night even more special, Amy was nice enough to gift me with a black logo beanie with a fur pom pom. Personally, I had an amazing time....it was wonderful being part of an atmosphere that was fun, trendy and lively.

Here is a video recap of the event:
